‘His pinky DISSAPPEARS!’: Was Donald Trump’s Charlie Kirk speech made with AI?

The video posted to X by Trump has some tell-tale signs that might prove it was made with AI.

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination Donald Trump was quick to make a statement in which he told Americans that the 31-year-old was a “martyr for truth and freedom.” He then went on to blame those on the “radical left” for demonizing people with whom they disagree, implying that they were responsible for Kirk’s death.

The four minute video certainly caught the attention of people online. Trump was heavily criticized for his incendiary message that only served to further divide the country during a time when the president should have been calling for unity. However, after the dust somewhat settled and people re-examined the clip, they noticed something else, something incredibly suspicious.

Trump’s video looks like it uses some AI

Observing Trump’s movements, some began to suspect that the video had been made with, or at least enhanced with, AI. Everything appears to be a little too smooth at certain points, while at other points it seems to move too fast.

Viewers were quick to accuse Trump and the creators of the video of using AI based on these details alone.

But there’s more, some went deeper into the analysis and broke it down frame-by-frame and they stumbled upon some pretty damning evidence that suggests the AI theory may actually hold some water.

It’s all in the hands

“Um that Trump speech was AI…” writes Andy Signore on X, “His pinky DISSAPPEARS!” He also shares a slowed down video which is zoomed in on Trump’s hands which lay over one another on his desk. At one point he quickly moves his hand and you can clearly see what appears to be his pinky disappearing and reappearing in a slightly different position to where it was before.

Now is this AI? Or a glitch in the footage? Who’s to say for sure? One person responded to Signor’s proof suggesting it “might just be a blur.” But many are convinced that this is proof that the controversial tech was used within the video, AI is notorious for messing up hands after all.

It may have simply been used to make slight edits but this is still not great. If AI really was used, it needs to be disclosed or else people will lose trust in Trump and the government (not that many of them trust him anyway). As Signor points out, “Trump sued 60 Minutes for MILLIONS over just an edit!”

Why would they do this?

This possibly AI video has further fueled speculation surrounding Donald Trump and his health. For a while now people have suspected the president’s condition may be declining. He went AWOL with no explanation a couple of weeks back and this week footage of him at a 9/11 event appears to show his face drooping as if he’s had a stroke.

Could technology have been employed to cover up Trump’s ailing health? That’s what some people believe.
