‘I ain’t reading all that’: Republican Rep. Thomas Massie trolls Trump after president writes lengthy rant calling him ‘weak’ and ‘pathetic’

Thomas Massie: 1 Donald Trump: 0

Donald Trump loves to write long and rambling paragraphs about anything and everything that enters his shrivelled up, walnut-sized brain. Often he shares his thoughts on Truth Social where you can see his latest tirade against Republican Rep. Thomas Massie.

The president certainly had some choice words for Kentucky’s 4th congressional district Rep, accusing him of being the “Worst “Republican” Congressman we have had in many years.” Anyone who knows Trump knows this is an insult he reserves especially for any Republican who fails him or doesn’t immediately bow down to him and treat him like royalty.

Trump endorses Captain Ed Gallrein to take Massie’s place, encouraging other Republicans to get behind him too. He labels Massie a “weak and pathetic RINO (Republican In Name Only).” The rest of the post is spent showering praise upon Gallrein, whom Trump believes is best positioned to defeat Massie for the district.

Thomas Massie has proven many times that he isn’t afraid to stand up to Trump and even mock him. His response to the Truth Social post certainly got a chuckle out of me as he replied on X with a short message simply telling Trump, “i ain’t reading all that/ im happy for u tho/ or sorry that happened.”

The full quote is a meme that’s been around for a few years now. Often used to respond to a long message essentially dismissing what the previous person has said but in a comedic way.

Thomas Massie gets it

Unlike Trump, Massie seems to be more in touch with the language of the youth. His response has already seen positive responses from some on X with people adding their own memes such as an image depicting the president as the “Virgin Trump” and the Kentucky Rep as the “Chad Massie.”

Others called Massie “based” while X user, @LibertarianRed1 wrote, “I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Never change.”

Clearly Trump’s words aren’t phasing Massie and his successful trolling has made Trump look like a seething fool (which he is). He isn’t the first politician to take this approach either, last year Democrat Gavin Newsom decided he would start mimicking Trump’s way of writing to give MAGA a taste of their own medicine.

It’s no surprise that Trump has a strong dislike for Massie as not only does the Kentucky Representative disagree with him on many key policies, but he has also been very vocal about holding people in the Epstein files accountable, something we all know the Trump administration is desperately trying to bury.
