‘I can’t believe I agree with her’: Marjorie Taylor Greene slams GOP for cratering regular folks’ living standards

A confused Trump wonders "What's going on with Marjorie?

Marjorie Taylor Greene made her name as Donald Trump’s loudest and most passionate fangirl. Starry-eyed quotes from her praising him are easy to find: “I love President Trump, I never hide that fact. I think he’s wonderful,” and “I would fight for that man because he fought for us.”

Now, in one of the most unexpected face turns in political history, Greene has broken with both Trump and his administration on several key points.

She’s adamant that the Epstein files must be released, no matter who’s named in them, has been one of the most consistent pro-Palestinian voices in U.S. politics (a dire indictment of progressive Dems), and has now rounded on the party’s broken promises about raising living standards.

In an interview with CNN, she blasted her colleagues for the ongoing government shutdown and losing focus on “America first” policies, calling out the GOP for their broken campaign promises on lowering living costs:

“The reverse Fetterman”

Where on earth has this Marjorie Taylor Greene been all this time? Did she suffer a freak head injury that somehow made her smarter, kinder, and develop critical thinking skills? We could dub it “the reverse Fetterman”!

Trump himself is reportedly baffled by Greene’s about face. NBC News reported that he extended an invitation to her to visit his Rose Garden in September, only for her to turn him down due to “illness”. Two GOP sources said a baffled Trump openly wondered, “What’s going on with Marjorie?”

As unlikely as it sounds, it seems Greene actually wholeheartedly believes the things most Republicans (and Trump) only pay lip service to. While they’ll campaign on promises of making life easier for regular people while secretly planning to stuff their own pockets the moment they enter Washington, Greene seems to genuinely care about the high cost of living and how that affects people.

All indications are that Greene’s heart is somehow in the right place. We can only hope and pray that her brain follows suit, possibly eventually leading to a full break from Trumpism and MAGA when the penny drops that her colleagues are corrupt and venal monsters who don’t give a hoot about regular people’s healthcare or grocery prices.
