Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged nightmare ranch was ignored by police all this time, says its new owner

Weird that they don't want more evidence.

The new owner of Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous Zorro Ranch in New Mexico is speaking out, and what he’s claiming is pretty wild. He says that despite years of serious, horrific allegations against Epstein, law enforcement never actually stepped foot on the property to investigate while he has owned it. This is a shocking claim, especially considering the ranch was allegedly central to some of Epstein’s most disturbing activities.

Don Huffines, a wealthy Texas businessman and former Republican state senator, purchased the notorious ranch back in 2024. Huffines, who has ties to the MAGA movement, says he’s been ready for a thorough police investigation ever since he took over the deed. He even made his frustrations public this week, posting a message on X where he detailed his attempts to cooperate with authorities, per TMZ.

Zorro Ranch has been central to many of the deeply unsettling stories surrounding Epstein. Allegations claimed that Epstein sex trafficked and sexually assaulted women and girls there for years when he was alive. It’s hard to imagine the kind of stuff that potentially happened on that land. Furthermore, there were even rumors floating around about bodies potentially being buried on the massive Santa Fe property, though those claims were never proven true. You’d think with the sheer gravity of these accusations and the public interest in the case, the authorities would have been incredibly thorough.

It seems like no one checked the ranch with the supposedly dead bodies

Huffines explained in his post that as soon as he and his family bought the ranch at a public auction, they immediately established an open line of communication with local law enforcement. He repeatedly made it crystal clear that he would give the police full access to the property and total cooperation if they wanted to search or investigate anything related to the dark history.

What’s baffling to me is that authorities never took him up on that offer. If I were a detective working a case this high-profile, I’d be crawling all over that ranch looking for any shred of evidence. It feels like a serious oversight if this claim holds true, or maybe another case of trying to hide the worst of Epstein’s crimes.

Huffines posted this claim on X on a Monday night, welcoming any investigation the police might still want to conduct. He essentially stated that he had done everything possible on his end to open the doors, but law enforcement never requested access to the Santa Fe property. The fact that an alleged site of serious crimes like sex trafficking and assault was seemingly ignored by investigators is definitely raising some eyebrows in the public sphere.

Huffines and his family are now working hard to turn the page on the property’s awful past. They purchased the ranch four years after Epstein’s death, hoping to reclaim the land from its history. They renamed the ranch San Rafael Ranch, taking the name from the saint associated with healing. It’s a nice touch, connecting the property to healing after such a traumatic past. The ultimate goal is to transform the property into a Christian retreat.
