‘Let her go she’s pregnant’: ICE demonstrates inhumanity as agents pin pregnant woman on her stomach

ICE agents really can't do anything right.

By now we’re unfortunately more than used to seeing videos of ICE being inhumane and downright evil, but somehow these agents are able to keep surprising us with the depths of their corruption.

The federal agency has not stopped in its ceaseless persecution of innocent people across the country and a recent video posted to X shows that things are as bad as ever. The clip in question shows a crowd gathered around as ICE agents detain a pregnant woman, of course, the men detaining the woman are using excessive force because they seemingly don’t know (or haven’t been adequately trained) to detain someone any other way. But should we be surprised? Many of these ICE recruits are just couch potatoes who crave having a little bit of power over someone else.

They can be seen pinning the woman to the ground, on her stomach, and one agent looks like he’s even putting his full weight on her. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this could very likely put the woman’s pregnancy at risk but the men don’t seem to care at all.

The agents also completely fumble trying to de-escalate the situation as concerned citizens try to explain to them that the woman is pregnant. The crowd makes plenty of noise and expresses their disdain at what the agents are doing which is understandable considering these men’s actions could lead to the woman losing her child.

Things escalate

Eventually the crowd begin throwing snowballs which leads one of the agents to start pepper-spraying the people. While the chaos allows the woman the opportunity to get off of her stomach, she is violently dragged by the arm before falling to the ground where she continues to be dragged.

How many times must we see ICE acting like this? Treating innocent people in such an unnecessarily cruel way? As you’d expect, there was a great deal of outrage online as people expressed their disgust over the agents’ actions. “They claim to care about women and children, but then do this.” The person who shared the video wrote, adding, “it’s not about finding criminals, it’s about terrorizing communities and blaming everyone else for the issues they caused.”

Of course, there are always some heartless folks that try to justify it, “She should have complied with law enforcement. Her actions had consequences,” wrote one clueless individual. Awfully rich to make such a statement when the U.S. president himself isn’t complying with the law.

Also, in some cases, ICE has been detaining people regardless of whether they are complying with the law or not so who knows whether this woman was cooperative with the agents or not. What’s more, there have been many horror stories about people detained in ICE facilities so it would have been completely understandable had the woman been resisting.
