‘MAGA is me’: Trump laughs at MAGA dissidents furious at new wars, explains MAGA is whatever he wants it to be

"MAGA loves everything I do, and I love everything I do, too."

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that MAGA is not a coherent political philosophy. Many smart people have attempted to pin down precisely what MAGA might stand for, though the sands keep shifting under their feet.

One week, they’re adamant isolationists. The next they’re kidnapping other countries’ presidents. They sometimes hate China, then open America’s doors to Chinese students. For a year they can be adamant that the truth about Jeffrey Epstein must be exposed, then just as quickly insist that it should remain under lock and key.

Fortunately, Donald Trump is now here to unveil precisely what MAGA is. It’s literally, specifically, just him. Speaking to NBC, he laid it all out:

“MAGA loves it. MAGA loves what I’m doing. MAGA loves everything I do. MAGA is me. MAGA loves everything I do, and I love everything I do, too.”

For Donald Trump, this is frighteningly solid logic. He is MAGA, MAGA loves him, and he loves him! What’s to misunderstand here?

Glad we finally have this cleared up

Right now, Marjorie Taylor Greene may be realizing she’s made some gigantic mistakes in her political life. It seems her mistake was assuming that MAGA was bigger than Trump himself and represented a set of principled platforms that would never be abandoned.

Well, the jokes on her, because MAGA is whatever Trump wants it to be. In one way, this is a huge advantage, as the hooting morons in MAGA hats can be made to believe and support whatever random thing comes into Trump’s mind. War with Venezuela? Sure! Sounds MAGA to me!

The downside is that Trump is pushing 80, visibly unhealthy, and his doctors seem concerned about his mental faculties. If Trump is MAGA, then MAGA is going to die with him. From Trump’s perspective, that’s no big deal – his death may as well be the death of the universe. But his allies should be rightly nervous that he has zero interest in preparing for a successor to carry on his MAGA crusade.

This “Death of Stalin” style chaos may commence any day, but at least now we finally know what MAGA is! MAGA is Trump. Trump is MAGA. So simple.
