MAGA’s messaging is falling apart as JD Vance bizarrely claims fewer migrants will magically create more housing

JD Vance gets tangled up in his own lies.

JD Vance has stated that less “illegal aliens” means more houses for American citizens, claiming it’s “simple economics,” although many online were quick to point out the glaring contradiction in his statement. Turns out the only “simple” thing here is Vance himself.

While addressing the state of the economy, the Vice President shifted the blame to the usual scapegoat: immigrants. Vance tried to reason that the reason the average American citizen isn’t able to afford to buy a house is because of all the illegal immigrants who are somehow getting in there first. this comes shortly after he claimed it was “reasonable” for people to not want neighbors who don’t speak English.

“We’re starting to get those illegal aliens out of the United States of America, those criminals, those gang members, those people who are taking homes that by right go to the people in this room.”

But this line of thinking directly contradicts the narrative that the Trump administration has been pushing about immigrants this whole time. Vance says it himself as he refers to them as “criminals” and “gang members,” if no immigrant is contributing to society then can they afford to buy houses? “They supposedly don’t work and live on welfare,” wrote one person on X, summarizing the lies MAGA have spread, “but they’re also somehow buying up all the houses?”

It seems the government is incapable of being consistent in their own lies when it comes to immigrants so which is it?

JD Vance is just scapegoating immigrants

All this just seems like a thinly-veiled excuse to divert attention away from the growing class consciousness across the U.S. People are finally understanding that the billionaires and the politicians are more to blame for the lack of affordable housing than an immigrant who likely has more in common with the average American than Donald Trump or JD Vance ever will.

Clearly the GOP are getting too lazy with their lies now, not even caring if they blatantly contradict themselves, perhaps they think people won’t care, or notice, but they will. “Both things can’t be true at the same time that’s the tell every time,” wrote one individual on X, “It’s the same about jobs.” Remarked another, “They claim they’re taking all of the jobs but they’re also getting all of the free stuff.”

It’s nice to see there are still plenty of people capable of seeing through the lies of this administration and they aren’t afraid to call it out. Vance’s lame attempt to blame the groups his party have demonized for so long seems to have backfired but there are no doubt plenty who will unfortunately believe every one of his lies.
