Man becomes internet sensation after training crows to attack MAGA supporters

MAGA aren’t a particularly popular bunch in America right now, but one man has found a unique way of showing his disdain for Trump supporters by training crows to dive at anyone wearing one of those obnoxious red hats.

Dave, or “biz_dave” as he is known on Threads, has been showing off what his Corvus friends are capable of to the masses and people are impressed. Dave has shown pics and clips of the crows knocking the MAGA hats off of a plank of wood, he’s been training them for a while now to hopefully pester any MAGA out there.

How did Dave train his crows?

As most people know, crows are incredibly smart creatures, a study from the National Aboudon Society found that the birds are even capable of counting out loud and even rival monkeys in their cognitive capacity. As such they’re relatively easy to train.

Videos on Dave’s Threads account show that he has been putting a variety of food objects underneath the red hats, prompting the crows to knock them off in order to get to the treats beneath. Considering their intelligence level this means they would likely associate MAGA caps with food underneath and so they will knock them off of the head of anyone wearing such a hat.

While some who have seen Dave’s progress have expressed doubts over the legitimacy of his videos, even accusing him of using AI to create the videos, his thorough coverage of his journey with the crows is enough to prove that it is real. 

Why is Dave doing this?

Dave has explained his motivation for training the crows on his account. In one post he writes, “I tried to be centrist for a long time but I no longer believe that is a moral option.” Admittedly the hatred, bigotry and violence coming from MAGA has gone way too far in the last few months and it seems to have radicalized Dave in a wholly unique way.

But he’s not alone as plenty of others online see the vision, “Do not ever give up on this please.” wrote one person. Others suggested using other birds, one suggested training gulls as, “they can be really aggressive.” Another wanted to see a bald eagle for the “symbolism and imagery.” A third suggested going even further and joked about training bears next.

I think we all aspire to be this petty and this devoted to annoying MAGA supporters but so far, only Dave has been bold enough to put his plan into motion. We eagerly await the day when he and his crow army rise up and steal all the MAGA hats.
