Marjorie Taylor Greene contradicts herself after granting an interview to an alleged child sex predator

Greene can't keep her story straight on protecting children.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has spoken out about Jeffrey Epstein. And on August 18, she posted an X post about the Las Vegas Israeli official sex trafficking scandal.

But just a few days earlier, she granted Matt Gaetz an interview, the former Florida Representative, who is also a suspected sex trafficker. This proves that on this issue, MGT can’t keep her story straight.

Alexandrovich’s arrest

The Israeli official mentioned in Greene’s post was Tom Alexandrovich, Executive Director of Israel’s National Cyber Directorate. On August 6, 2025, Alexandrovich was arrested in Nevada during a two-week undercover operation targeting individuals attempting to solicit minors online. He now faces felony charges and, if convicted, could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office denied the arrest. They stated that U.S. authorities merely questioned Alexandrovich before he returned to Israel as scheduled. However, subsequent reports confirmed the arrest and charge.

In response, the Cyber Directorate announced that Alexandrovich is on leave “to deal with the matter until things become clear.” Greene captioned her post in part, “Why did our government release a child sex predator from Israel who works directly under the Prime Minister of Israel?”

Greene and Gaetz’s interview

Greene has been critical of the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein case. Moreover, she was right to call attention to Alexandrovich’s arrest. But just a few days earlier, she shared a Gaetz interview from Gaetz’s One American News Network talk show. Greene and Gaetz spoke about America’s ongoing support of Israel, which Greene opposes.

Gaetz, a Republican former congressman from Florida, faced a federal investigation into allegations of sex trafficking, particularly concerning a 17-year-old girl.

The Department of Justice closed the case in February 2023 without filing charges, citing witness credibility and insufficient evidence. Still, the House Ethics Committee found substantial evidence that Gaetz paid for sex and used drugs, without enough proof to establish sex trafficking. Amid continued scrutiny, Gaetz withdrew from his 2024 nomination for U.S. Attorney General and subsequently resigned from Congress.

Greene, meanwhile, consistently defended Gaetz throughout his legal scrutiny. In November 2024, she warned Republican colleagues opposing Gaetz’s nomination for attorney general that she could reveal sexual harassment and assault claims against them if the House Ethics Committee released its report on Gaetz. She also demanded full transparency and alluded to possible information connected to Epstein.

Gaetz’s controversial history was noted in Greene’s comment section: “Matt, you went and had a 17 year old girl taken over state lines just so you two can have ‘Adult Fun’. I don’t want to be rude, but you may not have too much room to talk.” Another added on Greene’s post about Alexandrovich’s arrest, “Cool so why are you and Congress protecting Trump and the other pedos in the Epstein files?”
