Michael Wolff dismisses Trump legal threats, says he’ll ask him under oath if Epstein introduced him to Melania

Is Trump afraid of the big, bad Wolff?

Author and journalist Michael Wolff has to be near the top of Donald Trump’s enemies list. He’s authored a series of bombshell books exposing what goes on behind the scenes of the Trump administration and appears to know where certain bodies are buried – perhaps both literally and metaphorically!

Trump is furious about Wolff’s ongoing crusade to expose his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, taking to Truth Social on Monday to yell:

“Not only wasn’t I friendly with Jeffrey Epstein but, based upon information that has just been released by the Department of Justice, Epstein and a SLEAZEBAG lying ‘author’ named Michael Wolff, conspired in order to damage me and/or my Presidency.”

Trump went on to threaten legal action against Wolff. But Wolff is entirely unruffled by the threat, all but demanding Trump sue him as this would give him the power to subpoena the Trumps “and all their friends” to ask them some awkward questions under oath about their Epstein links.

“Bring it on”

Now, in an appearance on the Daily Beast’s live show, Wolff once again provoked Trump:

“This is, I think, the third or fourth time over the last ten years that he has threatened to sue me. He has never sued me. … He obviously has so much to hide. He can’t sue me. What is he going to do? Is he going to sit for a deposition? Is he going to answer all of the questions that then I would have the right to ask him about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein?”

And what precisely might Wolff want to quiz Trump about?

“In the release of these documents by the federal government, there is a document that says Jeffrey Epstein introduced you to your wife. Do you want to discuss that, Mr. Trump?”

The rumor that Epstein introduced Trump to Melania at a 1998 party has been going around for a while. After Trump’s inauguration, Epstein himself bragged about playing matchmaker between the. For her part, Melania has furiously fought back against this, even threatening to sue Hunter Biden for $1 billion after he repeated the rumor.

The Trump version of events is that Donald approached Melania directly at a 1998 New York Fashion Week party at the Kit Kat Club in Times Square. As such, they insist that no third party actively introduced them to each other.

But, frankly, it’s easy to see why they’d want to squash any rumors that the President and First Lady were brought together by a Cupid who’s modern history’s most notorious pedophile. It remains to be seen whether Trump will actually sue Wolff (who, frankly, has some questions to answer of his own about his Epstein links), but whatever happens, expect drama. Pass the popcorn!
