A Doordash customer found herself in a terrifying situation after her delivery driver rushed into her home to evade ICE agents waiting to capture them. The incident, which occurred mere days after federal officers shot and killed American citizen Renee Nicole Good, was posted to TikTok and we hear the woman begging police to come out to her house as agents swarm outside.
The video was posted by “Stormibaby27” and in it we can hear her talking over the phone with what we can assume to be a 911 operator. Stormi explains that her female DoorDash driver ran into her home after ICE agents tried to nab her on the job. She also claims that she doesn’t want to let the officers into her home, especially considering the fact that they don’t have a warrant. The operator explains that if they come back with a warrant they will be able to break the door down.
In the video vehicles can be seen waiting in the snow and what appears to be ICE agents are seen at several points loitering outside.
It’s a frightening situation for Stormi and the DoorDasher, and Stormi also states that she has a baby in the house too. While you may think she’d be frightened of the stranger in her house, it’s clear that what’s scaring her the most is the thought of the federal officers harming her or her child, sadly that’s not an irrational fear any more as we’ve seen ICE agents execute unarmed U.S. citizens too many times now.
What happened after ICE showed up?
The video went viral fast, garnering 17 million views as of writing this article. Many in the comments wanted to know what happened to Stormi and the DoorDash driver after the video ended.
Thankfully, the original poster soon came back with an update. In her post she gave the TikTok handle of the DoorDasher who hid in her home. Stormi shared the details with permission from the woman herself, according to her, the woman’s name is Fernanda and while she was not arrested by ICE, a family member of hers was. Videos on her page speak of her husband who was taken by federal officers, leaving Fernanda to support herself and her daughters alone.
Stormi has since set up a GoFundMe for Fernanda and plans to figure out a way to get the funds to her safely. In the meantime she encouraged her followers to go to Fernanda’s page and show some support for her during this difficult time. Stormi has since posted more videos to help spread awareness about the activities of ICE.
