Would you vote for influencer and boxer Jake Paul? Well, Donald Trump certainly hopes you will, and he’s vowed to endorse him to run for whatever political office he wants to occupy.
Last night, Trump conducted yet another one of his rallies in Kentucky. Little was said of note, save for a rather muted reaction from the crowd when Trump teased that his war with Iran may last longer than anticipated.
But the main event (aside from someone collapsing behind him) was bringing Jake Paul on stage. Trump was effusive about him, saying:
“I’m going to make a prediction that you will be, in the not-too-distant future, running for political office. You have my complete and total endorsement.”
Paul repaid the compliment in his speech, saying:
“What Mr. Trump has taught me is courage. We never back down from a fight, even if they’re much bigger than you, much, much bigger than you. I feel all the local Kentuckians feel the same way. You guys have that fight. You guys have that swag.”
That message of masculine bravado was somewhat undercut by Paul looking visibly sweaty and dishevelled during his speech, with some of the most prominent armpit sweat stains we’ve seen in public in some time. It was a relatively cool evening in Hebron, Kentucky, so what gives?
Niagara Pauls
Whatever was going on, as perennial menswear observer @dieworkwear noted on X, “this is a tough look for a man with a line of antiperspirant deodorant”:

A reply noted that this is a truly Herculean level of sweatiness from Paul: “sweating through an undershirt, a dress shirt, a vest, and then a suit jacket to this level is an accomplishment worthy of a world record. Dude probably needed a gallon of Gatorade by the time he left the stage.”
Trump is well known for his high aesthetic standards in menswear, once famously criticizing Barney Frank for his “disrespectful” protruding nipples in Congress:
Barney Frank looked disgusting–nipples protruding–in his blue shirt before Congress. Very very disrespectful.

As such, as he was standing mere meters away, I suspect Trump was privately repulsed by whatever bodily Niagara Falls Paul had going on last night. Whatever else is going on with Paul, maybe he should go for darker suits if he’s going to run for public office?
