‘This is Biden’s Stock Market’: Trump tells Americans to be patient and blames economic turmoil on, you guessed it, Joe Biden

Trump never gets tired of this excuse it seems.

How long do you think Donald Trump and MAGA will continue to blame the previous administration for their blunders? That’s a trick question, the reality is they will never stop. We all know Trump never likes to admit he’s wrong and Joe Biden is a convenient scapegoat.

Despite the boatload of evidence proving that it is Trump’s tariff policy that is sinking the American economy the president absolutely refuses to acknowledge his own failure. Instead, he’d much rather point the finger and avoid taking any responsibility whatsoever.

Trump says the tariffs will kick in soon

In a post to Truth Social, the president told Americans that “This is Biden’s Stock Market, not Trump’s.” He also tried to hide behind the excuse that he did not take office until January 20th — you know — the exact date things took a turn for the worse in the U.S. But sure, it was the guy running the country before who was to blame.

Trump also assured his followers that the “Tariffs will soon start kicking in, and companies are starting to move into the USA in record numbers.” That may be the case, but for many, the tariffs have already done irreparable harm to people’s livelihoods and blaming that on Biden when a lot of the chaos was caused by Trump’s poorly thought out plans seems more than a little disingenuous.

We just have to “BE PATIENT”

Trump goes on to implore his followers to be patient, claiming that Biden left them with bad numbers, (whatever that means) and that the current situation “has NOTHING TO DO WITH TARIFFS.” I think many would disagree, this has everything to do with tariffs.

Right now the U.S. has come to a standstill with its trade. The country’s busiest port in Los Angeles is currently a ghost town. Meanwhile, China seems disinterested in negotiating with Trump unless he backs down on his policies. When will the president finally admit that his tariffs were a misstep? No doubt Joe Biden is laughing at the accusations being thrown his way right now.

The taxation on trade could well lead to more companies moving their production to the U.S., in fact, some have reportedly been eyeing U.S. expansions to avoid tariffs. But realistically, how long is that going to take? Can the American economy really survive that long if Trump cuts the country off from the rest of the world?

Who knows the answers to those questions? One thing is for certain however, Donald Trump’s tariffs have had a negative effect on the economy and we can’t blame Biden for that.
