‘Those women puff up their lips and enlarge their breasts’: Marjorie Taylor Greene says Trump bimbofication trend is creepy

It’s hard not to notice the ‘Mar-a-Lago’ look. You know, swollen lips, botoxed foreheads, teased blonde hair, and a lot of cleavage on show.

Plastic surgeons have noted that conservative women are increasingly requesting “Mar-a-Lago” face, with SoCal Plastic Surgeons’ Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel describing it as “a recognizable combination of facial features and plastic surgery enhancements, often modeled after Ivanka Trump’s signature look.”

It’s basically transforming your body into Donald Trump’s ideal of what a woman should be – straight up full on Barbie bimbofication. Well, one conservative blonde has had enough. Marjorie Taylor Greene is days away from leaving Washington and, judging by a new interview with The New York Times, is leaving no bridge unburnt. She said:

“I never liked the MAGA Mar-a-Lago sexualization. I believe how women in leadership present themselves sends a message to younger women. I have two daughters, and I’ve always been uncomfortable with how those women puff up their lips and enlarge their breasts.”

It’s a fair point. We agree with her that it feels like something out of The Handmaid’s Tale how conservative women are literally undergoing surgery to conform to the Trump beauty ideal.

“Outside the range of what a normal human face should look like”

Reports indicate requests for these kinds of procedures have been spreading through DC like wildfire throughout 2025. The Guardian quotes DC plastic surgeon Dr Anita Kulkarni, who says that the Trump administration has seen an uptick in women making “unreasonable requests”:

“To my eye, if I put any more in there, you’re going to cross over from looking like the best version of yourself to looking like Maleficent. I have to say no in a way that I have never seen before. … My aesthetic doesn’t necessarily have to be your aesthetic for me to give you what you want. But when you go outside the range of what a normal human face should look like, that’s not a place I’m willing to go.”

Another DC-based plastic surgeon, Dr Kelly Bolden, noted that her clients are demanding “the artificial look”, meaning their faces must be injected with filler and Botox to give them the desired “mask-face type of appearance”.

It’s fair to say Greene herself broadly fits into the conservative woman aesthetic with her blonde hair, though by all accounts hasn’t undergone any plastic surgery to morph her face into an identikit Trump babe.

So, I guess, good for her. Even though she’s leaving Washington I doubt we’ve seen the last of Greene, but let’s hope that when she does reappear, she still looks like a human being rather than a blow-up doll.
