In a shocking social media post that’s already gone viral, Elon Musk appeared to confirm one of the internet’s most controversial conspiracy theories: President Donald Trump is allegedly named in the sealed Jeffrey Epstein files.

“Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out,” Musk wrote in a reply to a post viewed more than 24 million times as of June 5, 2025. The original post claimed: “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
The implication is explosive. Despite years of speculation and ongoing legal battles over the release of the Epstein documents, there has never been official confirmation that Trump is listed in the unreleased materials — until now, if Musk’s cryptic statement is to be believed.
Musk and Trump’s escalating feud
Once cordial, the relationship between Musk and Trump has recently turned icy over Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” particularly after Musk resigned his post as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
