Trump stormtroopers assault Black DC lawyer in stop and search, he vows vengeance

"To the American people watching, this is what calling out a failed system looks like."

The citizens of Washington, DC are currently waking up each morning and thanking their Lord and Savior President Donald Trump for saving the city from crime. Why, he’s like Batman, RoboCop, and Sherlock Holmes all rolled into one!

Oh wait, actually they feel much less safe, despise having Trump’s troops shoving them around in their own city, and are actively protesting them in the hopes that they’ll leave. Trump’s DC takeover has been peppered with heavy-handed troops with little or no experience in law enforcement breaching the rights of American citizens, but last night was particularly miserable.

Paul Bryant is a prominent and well-respected member of the DC Bar who specializes in corporate disputes. He also works pro bono for veterans, fighting for their rights to benefits they’re owed, as well as supporting small businesses and non-profits in need of legal represenation.

Bryant is also Black, and apparently, it was this that caused twenty of Trump’s stormtroopers to grab and cuff him, and (according to him) attempted to manufacture evidence against him. Bryant was then detained for 30 minutes for no apparent reason:

“This is what calling out a failed system looks like”

As Bryant explained:

“To the American people watching, this is what calling out a failed system looks like. I was walking peacefully down this block when I was accosted by no less than 20 … agents and officers. I am not crazy. I am totally sane. I have complied with all these officers’ requests and 30 minutes after being detained, I remain detained and am not able to go.

I do not know what charges, I do not know why I am being detained, I was given no information, no officers are offering me any type of respite, nothing. Simply stand here, you n****r and be handcuffed while we wait to find magazines that do not exist, or we will find them for you. I assume that is the case.”

Bryant has vowed to launch legal retaliation for this stop-and-search, and we eagerly await the response from authorities. As for Trump’s DC troops? Here’s hoping they can sleep soundly knowing they’ve gotten this respected Black lawyer cuffed and searched.
