‘Trump took a whole group’: Adam Kinzinger is absolutely stunned at how so many MAGAs live in constant fear

Adam Kinzinger knows how Trump operates.

Adam Kinzinger is much smarter than your average Republican and he knows how the minds of MAGA work, plus he understands how Donald Trump has managed to manipulate people into rallying behind him even though it makes no sense.

According to Kinzinger, the key ingredient is fear. In a post to X, the RINO (Republican In Name Only) claimed that “MAGAs are scared of everything and everybody.” It’s this fear that Trump has been able to twist and mold into something much more akin to hatred. However, what has really stunned Kinzinger is just how many MAGAs are scared.

Adam Kinzinger accuses Trump of making a whole group of people afraid

Trump’s approach entirely depends upon fearmongering. We saw so many examples of this in the run up to the election last year, remember when he made the ridiculous claim that immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating people’s cats and dogs? Despite there being absolutely no evidence to back up his claim, Trump insisted it was happening and some people believed him. He preyed on their fear and used it to spin a ridiculous and false story that would rile people up.

Since becoming president, his harsh policies have been justified by his followers who deem them to be necessary in order to make America great again. We’ve seen ICE literally kidnap innocent people off of the street and throw them into the most inhumane prisons imaginable. We’ve seen attempts to defund Planned Parenthood and do away with DEI policies, all because Trump has convinced so many people that these things are bad and are actively making the country worse.

So many people are scared

Kinzinger’s statement really does hit the nail on the head, a lot of MAGA views originate from a place of fear masquerading as hatred. The whole illusion of the GOP and MAGA being “alpha” compared to the Democrat Party is simply insecurity.

Responding to his post on X, many agreed with his sentiment, one person offered additional insights, writing: “The bluster and bravado obfuscating the fear is so laden with dependency, dopamine, and demonization of “the other.”” Another wrote, “MAGA’s alpha narrative thrives on anxiety and division, not courage or critical thinking.”

Of course, there were more than a few MAGAs who took it upon themselves to respond to Kinzinger’s post and, in a way, they kind of proved his point. One person wrote, “I’m not afraid of a crybaby like you…” A second chimed in, “I don’t know what you have imagined we are afraid of but believe me- we aren’t.”

Unfortunately it seems most of Trump’s followers refuse to wake up and see how the president has manipulated and cheated his way into power once again. There are so many MAGAs willing to defend their leader till their last breath.
