White House lashes out at press as ‘visibly hunched’ Trump photo sparks yet another health scare

White House insists Trump is still model of vitality and dynamism.

Donald Trump is the most powerful man in the world, with the power of life and death over all of us. He is also clearly losing his grip on reality, and his brain and body are deteriorating by the day.

This shouldn’t come as a shock. Trump’s 80th birthday is just weeks away, he has one of the highest-pressure jobs on the planet, is visibly suffering from multiple health conditions, proudly leads an unhealthy life, and is surrounded by yes-men with a vested interest in keeping him in power, no matter what the true state of his health is.

All of which means that whenever Trump disappears from public view, tongues start wagging. Could he be receiving a secret medical intervention? Is he in a coma? On life support? Could he even be dead?!

Well, Trump has indeed avoided the cameras since his confused address to the nation about the progress of his war with Iran last Wednesday. However, he is not dead (well, he wasn’t yesterday at least). Trump did skip the traditional presidential Easter church service, choosing instead to take a tour of DC in the presidential motorcade.

He also stopped off at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, but it doesn’t seem he was able to play a round. A tight cordon was kept around him throughout this trip, but an intrepid photographer captured an image that shows a “visibly hunched” Trump shuffling from his limo into the golf club.

“President Trump literally never stops working”.

The official White House “Rapid Response” X was on the defensive about Trump’s health. As rumors that his body and mind are failing spread, they made the rather North Korean-sounding proclamation that “President Trump literally never stops working”. And all the evidence he’s unwell? “Insane conspiracy theories”:

It’s hard not to conclude that bombastic statements like this do more harm than good to the MAGA cause. Trump is almost 80! It’s perfectly natural for him not to be as sharp as he once was, have less stamina for hard work, require more downtime, and for him to be suffering debilitating physical health conditions.

Handwaving all that away by trying to paint Trump as some kind of superhuman powerhouse who “never stops working” just makes them sound ridiculous.

But, sadly for them, this is the corner into which the White House and Trump himself have painted themselves. After all, they spent years slamming Joe Biden for being too old to be president, holding up every mumbled speech and stiff motion as proof he was unable to carry out his duties as president. Worse, they were absolutely right! Joe Biden was too old.

Admitting that Trump now suffers from exactly the same issues as Biden would be a tacit admission that the 25th Amendment needs to be invoked before any more damage to the United States (and the world in general) is done. But, for them, admitting weakness would be far worse than plunging the planet into chaos, so here we are, with them having to hold up some wobbly, confused old geezer as a picture of vitality and dynamism.

You’d laugh, if the consequences weren’t so deadly serious.
