‘You would never find a nicer, kinder person’: ICE killer Jonathan Ross’ dad defends him, promises son will never face justice

"He's a committed, conservative Christian ... I couldn't be more proud of him."

Executing an innocent mother-of-three by repeatedly shooting her in the face from close range apparently makes you a nice person! Who knew?

We can only surmise what was going through the mind of 43-year-old ICE agent Jonathan E. Ross when he shot Renee Nicole Good in the head on Wednesday afternoon, but the consequences have reverberated up and down the nation.

The entire incident was captured on video from multiple angles by onlookers, showing us that Good was attempting to pull away from ICE officers when Ross opened fire on her. Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, JD Vance, and the rest of their disgusting ilk are insisting that, actually, Good was a “domestic terrorist” who seriously injured Ross, leaving him no choice but to open fire.

Unfortunately for the Trump administration, human beings can comprehend moving images with our eyes and understand them with our brains – a process which allows us to know that they’re lying to our faces.

Now, with Ross firmly in the spotlight as people demand that a murderer face justice, his dad has piped up to defend him. In comments to The Daily Mail, 80-year-old Ed Ross told the newspaper:

“You would never find a nicer, kinder person. He’s a committed, conservative Christian, a tremendous father, a tremendous husband. I couldn’t be more proud of him.”

I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Ed Ross went on to insist that the Trump administration’s lies are true, parroting that “she hit him” (she didn’t) and confidently asserting, “He will not be charged with anything.”

“Absolute immunity”

On that last point, he may be right. Trump has granted ICE officers “absolute immunity”, which apparently extends to letting these poorly-trained, armed, and masked morons execute random civilians and face no consequences.

But, in a darkly amusing twist, the interview also confirms that Jonathan Ross’ wife is… *drum roll* an immigrant, apparently from the Philippines. The elder Ross says she’s now a U.S. citizen but wouldn’t say how long she’d been in the United States, saying, “‘I do not want to go any further than that.” I’m sure he doesn’t, for obvious reasons!

Despite the mountain of evil the Trump administration, the idea that a government agent can summarily execute an innocent civilian on video and enjoy complete immunity for his actions feels like an event horizon for the United States. Are regular Americans happy with Trump’s goons legally executing them in the streets? I can only hope not.
