‘You’ve lost your marbles’: Piers Morgan can’t hide his secondhand shame, orders Donald Trump to delete insane Easter message

The easter bunny delivered bomb threats.

Piers Morgan couldn’t hold back his secondhand embarrassment, taking to X to publicly call out Donald Trump over a truly bewildering Easter Sunday Truth Social post. Morgan told him to “Delete it,” with a simple warning: “unless you want everyone to think you’ve lost your marbles.”

Per The Guardian, Trump’s post was a bizarre mix of threats and religious references. His post read: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F***** Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Trump has been threatening Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for weeks now. He’s actually shifted his deadlines multiple times, moving from Monday to Tuesday night, and then specifying “8:00 P.M. Eastern Time!” These threats have consistently focused on destroying Iran’s power plants and bridges. He’s even suggested a “good chance” of an agreement, but also told Fox News that if a deal isn’t made, he’s “considering blowing everything up and taking over the oil.”

It always comes back to oil

The implications of these threats are incredibly serious. Oona Hathaway, a Yale University law professor, points out that the Geneva Convention protects civilians and civilian objects, like infrastructure. Without an explanation that justifies turning these threatened civilian objects into military targets, such attacks “would constitute war crimes.” She added that “Immiserating the civilian population for bargaining leverage is not lawful.”

Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of the Iranian parliament, warned that President Trump’s “reckless moves are dragging the United States into a living HELL for every single family, and our whole region is going to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu’s commands. You won’t gain anything through war crimes. The only real solution is respecting the rights of the Iranian people and ending this dangerous game.”

Honestly, the US has already flirted with war crimes by instructing soldiers to give ‘no quarter.’ Ann Coulter, once a Trump cheerleader, has now also accused him of war crimes

The destruction of infrastructure isn’t just a threat. Recently, the 136-meter-high, $400 million B1 suspension bridge between Tehran and Karaj was obliterated. The attack happened on the last day of the Iranian New Year holidays, with many families picnicking nearby, causing 13 deaths and 95 injuries.

Not only did Trump post a video of the attack, he told Axios that he attacked the bridge because he “felt they were not being serious” about meeting for peace talks. Officials have avoided them so far because of fears they would be targeted if they broke cover for negotiations.

Iranian authorities report that about 81,000 civilian sites have been damaged, including 275 medical centers and 500 schools. Israel claims to have destroyed 70% of Iran’s steel production.

In response, Iran retaliated by attacking economic infrastructure across the Gulf; a petrochemicals complex in Bahrain was struck, facilities at the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and, two power and water desalination plants in Kuwait.

Trump’s post has also drawn criticism within the United States. Democratic Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer took to X, saying, “Happy Easter, America. As you head off to church and celebrate with friends and family, the President of the United States is ranting like an unhinged madman on social media.”
