Is Tekken 7 Currently In Development?

Fighting game fanatics — many of whom are likely glued to today’s final Evo 2014 bouts — will have something to cheer about if a new rumour ends up being true. That’s because, as IGN and Joystiq have both reported, word of mouth has suggested that Tekken 7 is currently in development.

Really, that’s all we know at this point, and it’s just hearsay. Nothing has been made official, and press releases have not been issued to those of us in the media. Hopefully this ends up being true, though, because the series’ fans are surely pining for a new canon entry.
