If you’ve ever had to move house, you may have heard of College Hunks; the franchise has almost 200 locations across North America and has been used by many when they need help moving home or removing junk. But one woman on TikTok claims she had a rather terrible experience with the moving service after the workers mocked and threatened her disabled mother.
According to TikToker “Franizooey,” her mother had paid for College Hunks workers to help transport her stuff from storage to her new home. She called out one worker in particular, providing a photo of him and claiming that he “refused to touch a box that contained her pads.” She also clarified that the pads were unopened and unused. “He said, ‘ew,’ and ‘I’m not gonna touch that,’ and ‘gross’.”
She then claimed that the man seated himself in the moving van before he began laughing at and filming her mother, who was on her walker. Franizooey sarcastically stated that it was a “super super cool way to treat a 79-year-old woman who is disabled.”
She also said the other mover screamed and yelled at her, calling her a “dumb, fat b—h” after Franizooey asked him to unload something from the van. He also allegedly threatened to take her mom’s stuff to his friend’s place and then “take it away.”

Commenters on the app were appalled by the apparent treatment Franizooey and her elderly mother had received, encouraging her to report the incident to a manager: “Call his manager 🙂 if not I will,” wrote one person. Another suggested she dispute the charge, telling her, “You just got free movers.” Another told her to take it a step further and “Find his mama.”
There were also plenty of other commenters who claimed to have had their own experiences with College Hunks, none of which were particularly good. One person claimed College Hunks movers stole things from their home, including Joy-Con controllers and a Mario game from their Nintendo Switch. Others said that they had always been put off by the name, which doesn’t exactly scream professionalism.
Naturally, people also made their way to the official social media pages belonging to the company, where they made their thoughts known. In a TikTok video talking about how movers are trained at College Hunks, one commenter asked if they “train them to be rude or do you look for that in the interview?”
As of writing, the company has yet to address the claims made by Franizooey, but netizens have proven they’re willing to make a stand for her and hold College Hunks accountable.
