‘Someone come collect your father’: Woman approached by creep asking for a kiss has to resort to different measures to get him to leave

Some guys just don’t know how to take a hint. It’s a frustrating reality that many women must face, when a man simply won’t take no for an answer. One woman on TikTok had to resort to a somewhat unorthodox tactic to shake a creep who was trying to get a kiss.

The video, which has since gone viral on TikTok, was shared by a woman called Luiza. In it we see what appears to be an intoxicated man at the girl’s table, asking for a kiss. He can be heard saying, “I just want a kiss,” his body language seems aggressive while Luiza and her friend repeatedly tell him they aren’t interested.

Unfortunately the man isn’t taking no for an answer leaving the woman with no other choice but to tell him they are lesbians on a date. The small lie seems to work although the man still doesn’t completely back off and his friend continues to egg him on. Luiza jokes in the caption, writing, “someone come collect your father.”

The fact that the two friends had to lie just to get a little bit of peace from the man’s constant attempts to flirt with them shows just how bad some men are at dealing with rejection, and how scary it can be for women sometimes too.

This isn’t a unique experience

Scenes like this are somewhat common, despite the vast strides we’ve made as a society, women still have to put up with some bad eggs in the form of overly persistent and downright dangerous men. 

In the comment section viewers shared their own experiences and the extreme measures they were forced to resort to in order to get a man to back off. “Unfortunately the only thing I’ve seen work with men this uncomfortably persistent is saying you’re trans.” wrote one commenter, although they acknowledged that this tactic is “damaging in its own way,” but when it comes to safety it’s worth it.

Misogynistic men will often shout “just say no,” in response to women who claim harassment, but this clip shows why that strategy simply doesn’t work. Another woman shared her experience with an old man who tried to kiss her to see if she was really lesbian, luckily her guy friend stepped in and turned the tables by trying to kiss the creep, “to see if he was truely[sic] into women,” which finally got him to back off.

Thankfully Luiza’s situation didn’t escalate, but these kinds of people can be very threatening and should be taken more seriously.
