‘Tell me what law he’s breaking’: Police unsure how to deal with crazy cello player perched on telephone pole

This weird goblin man has captured the hearts of the people of TikTok.

It’s amazing what humans can do with free will. If you really want to climb a telephone pole and play the cello while growling like a goblin then you can. Whether or not you should is another question altogether.

The cello on a telephone pole wasn’t a random example, somebody actually did that and the results are about as chaotic as you’d expect. Rushadicus is a TikToker who has made a name for himself by playing his cello in precarious situations. His aggressive and unique method of playing, coupled with his guttural growls and kazoo to tie it all together make for some of the most interesting content you can find on TikTok.

A man and his cello against the world

Anyways, one of his more popular videos (which has been viewed over 17 million times) features Rushadicus clinging to a telephone pole while playing a tune. Side note, his music sounds kind of like what you’d imagine an army of marching goblins to sound like, it can sound interesting, cool, and a little intimidating, but either way, it’s certainly not what you’d expect to hear on your average commute to work.

The strange sounds even caught the attention of a passing police car which pulled up as we see the officers step out, although it appears they have no clue what to do in this situation, to be fair to them, I don’t think a lot of people would know what to do. Seeing a man in a jester outfit clinging to a pole while playing two instruments would be enough to make anyone question reality.

Someone can be heard saying, “buddy you better get down,” but Rushadicus is not concerned about the police presence as he continues his bizarre performance to the ever-growing crowd. Eventually he climbs down to carry on playing on the ground, meanwhile the police seem to understand that his performance isn’t really breaking any laws so they simply stand and enjoy the show. Or maybe they simply didn’t want to mess with a goblin man.

TikTok loves the chaos

While not everyone gets Rushadicus’ content, it is perfect for TikTok as his fans love the wild and weird content he puts out. “The world isn’t ready for Goblincore and it’s sad,” wrote one fan, while another commended his cello playing skills, “okay to be completely fair (cellist of over 8 years here) thats actually pretty impressive playing.” A third asked, “Tell me what law he’s breaking I dare you.”

For those curious, yes, Rushadicus has plenty of other content just like this on his page, from climbing lamppost, to trees, and even playing his cello in the water, it seems the weird goblin man is fulfilling a very specific but highly interesting niche on TikTok.
