Texas woman orders an iced coffee with one cream at Tim Hortons. She takes one look and immediately goes back inside: ‘In what world is this’

They cloned the remake

A woman posted a video on TikTok after a local Tim Hortons managed to fail her expectations not once, but twice. According to the creator Merida, who goes by @greatvaluemerida, a quick run through the drive-thru left her with a beverage that looked more like a giant cup of milk than actual coffee.

The woman posted the video to her social media account, visibly baffled by the mixture she had been handed. Holding the incredibly light-colored drink up to the camera, she asked her viewers, “In what world is this one cream and one sugar? One cream. This is one cream”. She was seemingly disappointed with the order because she had specifically requested a standard, darker blend with minimal dairy, but instead received a diluted, pale beverage that lacked any real coffee strength or flavor.

She decided she couldn’t drink the beverage as it was. Rather than settling for the order, she chose to head back inside and ask the staff if they could fix it. “No, I’m going inside,” she said, filming her walk from the parking lot into the restaurant to speak face-to-face with an employee, much like the time a McDonald’s customer had to leave her car multiple times.

She allegedly tried to give the staff an easy out to fix it

Hoping to keep the interaction as simple as possible, she approached the counter with a very specific, low-effort solution for the employee working the register. “Hi, sorry to be a pain. I went through the drive-thru,” she began, using an apologetic tone to keep the interaction friendly. “Could you like dump out a third of the coffee and then just add coffee? It’s just too milky. Sorry”.

What happened next left the TikToker “tired”. Instead of simply pouring out a portion of the liquid and topping the cup off with straight black coffee as requested, the staff took it upon themselves to completely remake the beverage from scratch.

When she got back to her vehicle, she held up the brand-new cup, showing that the fresh drink was the exact same pale, milky shade of beige as the first one. “They completely remade it and it’s still so milky,” she revealed, completely dumbfounded by the repetition.

She took a hopeful sip on camera, but her facial expression quickly confirmed that the flavor profile hadn’t changed at all. This is probably not the first time  Tim Hortons has messed up an order

Realizing that she wasn’t going to get her preferred caffeine fix no matter how many times she asked, the creator decided to give up on her quest. Sighing as she looked at the second cup, she ended her viral video with a simple, defeated sign-off: “I tried”.
