Neighbor from hell tries to poison dogs with toxic mothballs, proving that some people shouldn’t share a planet with the rest of us

Who would do something so despicable?

A woman on TikTok has exposed the evil acts of a neighbor after they spread mothballs all over the street because they simply didn’t like it when people walked their dogs outside.

Amber shared the video after discovering the street outside her mother’s house was littered with the toxic balls of pesticide. In the caption she explains that her mother’s neighbor doesn’t like it when people walk their dogs and so decided the best course of action would be to try and kill or at least hurt as many of the poor animals as she could.

While mothballs are typically used to deal with moths (the name is kind of a giveaway) the toxins in the little balls can be harmful to other animals if ingested.

My mom’s neighbor was walking her dog yesterday and a lady on their street got mad because she walked infront of her house. So this miserable human covered the entire street with mothballs which are toxic to dogs. She admitted to the police she did it. SMH #pets#toxic#neighbors

The video shows tons of tiny white specs on the road as the neighbor has done a thorough job in making sure every inch of the street was covered.

This is some truly psychopathic behavior

Obviously this is not a normal response to not liking dogs. Not everyone has to like dogs, but to try and actively harm them when they’re not causing any bother is deranged.

Commenters rightly suggested that Amber call the authorities on the neighbor as her actions could have serious consequences, not just for the pets, but for the local wildlife. “Leaving mothballs is an actual crime, you need to report her!” Wrote one, “Omg imagine all the outdoor kitties,” a second added.

Another commenter claimed that “water running in the sewer should not have chemicals.” The mothballs would, of course, contaminate the water.

What did the neighbor have to say?

In the comments Amber explained that her mom did call the police who ended up paying the lady a visit. She claims the neighbor admitted to what she did and was fined for her actions. People responded positively to her comment, commending her for doing the right thing and expressing relief that the neighbor faced some consequences for her actions.

As for the toxic mothballs, unfortunately it seems the authorities didn’t do much about the ones already on the street so Amber, her mom, and her brother, took it upon themselves to clean the floor to the best of their ability. While she amidst there wasn’t much they could do about the mothballs crushed into the tarmac, they were able to successfully find and throw away a majority of the ones that were still whole.

Hopefully the neighbor has learned her lesson after receiving the fine from the authorities and this is the last time any dog walkers in the area have to worry about their pets ingesting harmful pesticides.
