TikToker shows how to build a cabin in the woods ‘without swearing’

Get ready to be satisfied.

Not sure why, but there is something incredibly satisfying about watching someone on TikTok build a cabin in the woods, especially if it’s ASMR-friendly, sped up and features — as one commenter put it — no swearing.

A TikTok featuring just that has gone viral, and after a few seconds of watching it’s easy to figure out why. An account simply called bushcraft_camping11, which features, you guessed correctly, people camping in the wilderness. This one is special though.

It shows a man building a cabin from scratch and only using the materials from the forest. What probably took him days is conveniently truncated into about two minutes of bliss. The precision, the craftsmanship and the self-reliance of being are all on healthy display here.

The comments are also gold. “I think I’ll just stick with a tent,” one person who apparently hates hard work said. There were also a few haters (there are always haters): “The editing taking longer then the build.”

This genius is operating under the assumption that the builder can only live in this house and nowhere else: “I know this wasn’t done in a day so where r u sleeping while constructing this?” Some people are (not) smart!

Of course people will always claim it’s fake: “I hate these fake videos. People eat it up because they have no clue.”

Perhaps the best comment goes to someone who really knows how hard it is to cut and shape wood purportedly without the help of power tools: “How can you do that without swearing?”

Listen, at the end of the day, real or fake, power tools or not, this is one relaxing video. Why not just enjoy it? Also, what if you need to build a cabin in the woods one day? Bushcraft has you covered.
