Woman arrives at the doctor’s office. Then she discovers she’s the only one there: ‘I’m literally locked in’

One commenter shared a similar story.

A routine medical appointment turned into a confusing and unsettling situation after a woman claimed the doctor’s office staff forgot her in an exam room. She then discovered she was the only person inside, after hours, with the building apparently locked around her.

TikTok creator Jules (@eatfigsnotpigs) shared the incident in late June 2026. She described showing up for what she believed was still in the appointment window, only to find herself alone in the clinic as closing time passed. “Okay, so I was supposed to see my doctor. It’s 4:13. The office closes at 4, and they have yet to come see me,” she said.

The footage shows Jules inside what appears to be an empty medical office space, with no staff visible and the environment suggesting the clinic had already shut down for the day. She appears to be alone in the waiting area, reinforcing her claim that she was left behind after hours.

She then says while exploring the space and trying the door, “Hello? Okay. And I’m literally locked in,” she claims.

One commenter had a similar experience

Jules’ video has since circulated widely, with viewers reacting to both the situation and the possibility that staff may have left before ensuring all patients were accounted for.

Commenters raised concerns ranging from billing issues to patient safety. Some viewers warned that she could still be marked as a no-show and potentially charged a cancellation fee despite her presence.

Others expressed concern about privacy and security inside a medical facility, with one user stating, “Sounds like a hipaa violation. You have been left unattended in an office with medical records that are not locked behind 2 sets of locks.”

Another commenter urged immediate caution, writing, “girl pls call the non-emergency line before ur phone dies. Someone else shared a similar experience, adding, “This happened to me at my gynecologist office, and I was sitting there in my little paper robe.” Another similar situation happened recently when a woman discovered an unlocked car dealership near Atlanta, with no employees inside.

Jules does not specify the location of the clinic in the video, and the medical office itself has not been identified or publicly commented on the situation. The incident also has not been independently verified beyond the creator’s account. At this time, it remains unclear what led to the apparent scheduling confusion or whether staff were aware she was still inside the building when closing time arrived.
