Woman confronts a man for allegedly touching women without consent in New York City. He responds with ‘God bless you’

He admitted to slapping a woman

A video filmed on a street in Manhattan shows a woman confronting a man over accusations that he had been touching women without their consent. During the exchange, the man admitted to making physical contact with one woman but said it was accidental.

The woman, who has been identified as Jay, posted on TikTok by user @jay_najjar. It was filmed at the corner of West 24th Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. In the caption, she wrote, “NYC ladies, beware of this man. He grabbed my butt at 24th St & 6th Ave tonight.#nyc #midtown”

The footage starts after the alleged incident has already taken place, so it does not show what happened beforehand. In the video, the man, wearing a black cap, grey T-shirt, backpack, and white earphones, tells the woman, “I was the one that touched her a**, you heard? I slapped her.” He goes on to say the contact happened because the other woman “bumped into” him.

Man defends his actions during the exchange

Throughout the confrontation, the woman presses the man about his behavior. She asks him, “How does that make you feel? Does that make you feel like a man?” The man responds by saying, “Yeah, I slap your a**,” while continuing to comment on her appearance, telling her she has a “fat a**.”

Other public confrontations over unwanted contact have also drawn attention online, including a case involving a man chasing a woman into a Chicago restaurant after she said he cornered her on the street.

When the woman asks how he would feel if the same thing happened to his mother, he does not directly answer. Instead, he continues making remarks about the woman’s body, telling her, “look how fat your a** is, bro,” and calling her “a queen.”

The woman then tells him she is not going to let the matter go, saying she wants an explanation for his actions. She warns him, “One of these days, you’re gonna mess with the wrong person.” She adds that if she had been born a man, “this would have been a different story.”

The man replies, “You’re lucky that God made you a woman,” and then repeats, “God bless you” and “I love you” multiple times as she continues speaking to him.

At one point, the man also brings up a claim that he had touched a police officer and correction officers while he was previously locked up, saying, “I grabbed the police a**, the NYPD. When I was locked up, the correction officers, they let you grab their a** too, you feel me?” Unlike this case, bystanders often intervene to save women, as seen when a bystander questioned a man he believed was following a woman on a street.

The woman calls his behavior “pathetic” as the exchange continues. The man responds by again commenting on her body, saying, “Look at your a**, bro. Look at you walking around here.” He continues talking as she walks away, saying, “I swear to God, if I was born a man, I would have done something. This is my life.”

The video does not show what happened before the confrontation began, and it does not independently confirm how the earlier physical contact occurred. It is unclear whether the alleged touching incident was reported to the New York Police Department or whether any arrests or charges resulted from it.

The video drew a large number of reactions from people online after it was posted. Many commenters shared their opinions on the confrontation and how each person handled it. One person wrote, “Clearly from the look in his eyes it’s nothing there he would sa her if he had the chance he got the type of eyes where u should know talking to him is pointless.”

Another commenter warned others to be cautious in similar situations, writing, “0 survival instincts. Ladies, if you ever around a dude giving you weird vibes, let alone being aggressive and touching you without consent.. GET THE F–K AWAY FROM HIM. Don’t be like this chick..”

A separate comment criticized the woman’s approach to the confrontation, reading, “Omg lady just shut the f–k up and report it to authorities. Doing this whole if I were a boy thing at the end, it’s kind of pathetic. You are a woman be proud of being a woman. You will not be a strong as a man, but there are perks of being a woman so quit complaining.”
