Woman orders $45 Olive Garden meal, but what shows up at her door instead leaves her completely stunned

A woman in Arizona ordered dinner from Olive Garden and got a big surprise. Instead of her pasta and breadsticks, she received an expensive bottle of cologne. In her TikTok video, she opens a small box to show what arrived. Inside is a white Chanel shopping bag with a receipt for $297 and a bottle of Bleu de Chanel men’s cologne. She captioned the video saying if anyone in the Scottsdale area is missing their expensive cologne, she probably has it because it got mixed up with her Olive Garden order.

According to Bro Bible, many people in the comments said they would be upset if they got perfume instead of food. One person wrote they would rather have the Olive Garden meal. Another commented asking what they’re supposed to do with perfume when they wanted breadsticks and Alfredo pasta.

The delivery mix-up got sorted out with an unexpected twist

In a follow-up video, the TikToker explained what happened next. The delivery driver came back to her door with her original Olive Garden order to pick up the cologne. But there was a funny timing issue. 

Because Uber Eats didn’t help her right away, she had already ordered a second Olive Garden meal as a replacement. That second order arrived at the exact same time the driver came back. So she ended up with two full Olive Garden dinners instead of one.

One commenter felt bad for whoever ordered the cologne. They joked that the person is probably angry while eating the TikToker’s breadsticks instead of getting their expensive perfume. The mix-up happened because Uber Eats also runs a courier service for small packages like perfume, not just food delivery. Delivery mishaps aren’t uncommon, and some situations get even stranger, like when a woman faked her entire pregnancy with a plastic doll.

According to Uber Eats‘ website, if you get the wrong delivery, you should contact them right away. They usually give refunds but won’t replace the order. However, many people on Reddit complain about Uber’s courier service. Some say they can’t get help through the app when they receive the wrong item. Others claim drivers stole their packages and never delivered them.

If Uber Eats won’t help fix a delivery problem, customers can contact their credit card company to get their money back. The credit card company can do a chargeback to reverse the charge. Uber might deactivate your account if you do this, but some people think it’s worth it if the company won’t help solve the problem.
