‘Your husband likes to watch my children’: Woman puts neighbor on blast for filming her backyard and threatening her dog’s life

TikTok is just full of neighborly disputes (or maybe it’s just my algorithm). One woman on the app has named and shamed her neighbor who she claims had cameras pointed at her backyard where her children regularly play.

We’ve seen many entitled Karens be put on blast on TikTok, but living next to a Karen is a whole different level of deranged. A video posted by “Shannonlynne94” shows the kind of drama she has to deal with as she confronts her neighbor over their cameras being pointed at her backyard.

The video starts with the argument already being pretty heated with Shannon throwing out a damning accusation, “Your husband likes to watch my children,” her neighbor, Kathy gives and inaudible response before Shannon yells back, “yeah the f*** he does.” After the heated disagreement in the front yard, Shannon shows the cameras, one of which has since been turned away, while another still points directly at her backyard.

This particular video is just one in a long list of videos documenting the dispute that has evidently been going on for quite some time.

There’s more to the story

Across numerous parts Shannon has been sharing with TikTok the numerous things her neighbors have done. It all started with a dispute over property lines, then things got heated when the husband, Larry, knocked on the door and accused Shannon of letting her dog into his yard, according to her, he even threatened to kill her pet.

Shannon claims they’re going to civil court over the property line dispute but also admits that they’re selling their home so she’s not quite sure what will happen. Anyways following the dog incident cameras were installed in the neighbors yard although it seemed as though most of them were pointed at Shannon’s yard despite the neighbors claiming it was to watch their bird feeders.

However, Shannon has taken the disagreement further by taunting her neighbors with loud karaoke in her backyard every morning. In one video she sings “Obsessed” by Mariah Carey and directly calls out Larry.

Many have seen the humor in Shannon’s response, “Larry-oke makes my morning!!” wrote one viewer, while others threw in song requests for the next video. However, some believe that Shannon is exacerbating the situation, “I was on her side until this” wrote a viewer who didn’t see the funny side in Shannon’s actions, “she is just getting things egged on again.”

Either way the fighting between neighbors will be over soon enough as Shannon has already mentioned that she’s moving meaning Larry and Kathy can sleep easy in the mornings knowing they won’t be rudely awakened.
