Montreal Alouettes Win The 98th Grey Cup

Led by quarterback Anthony Calvillo the Alouttes were able to defeat the Saskatchewan Roughriders in a rematch of last years Grey Cup.

This past Sunday, in the 98th edition of the Grey Cup or Canada’s Superbowl, the Montreal Alouettes were for the second year in a row, victorious.

Led by quarterback Anthony Calvillo the Alouttes were able to defeat the Saskatchewan Roughriders in a rematch of last year’s Grey Cup. Similarly to last years game this too was an extremely close battle as going into the 4th quarter the score was tied. With a Saskatchewan missed field goal earlier in the 4th quarter, Montreal closed out the victory with an interception in the dying moments of the game.

Final Score: Montreal 21- Saskatchewan 18

MVP: Jamel Richardson- 8 Receptions, 110 Yards
