With humanity pushed to the brink of extinction, the remnants of our species have taken refuge in the Traveller, a powerful deity-like body that once allowed the human race to colonise nearby planets. However, with the malevolent Darkness creeping back to the fore, humanity turns to the Guardians — themselves divided into three races: Humans, Awoken and Evo — to defeat the oncoming galactic force and restore peace to the galaxy.
