Star Wars: The Last Jedi Promo Art Places Kylo Ren And Snoke Front And Center

Promo art pulled together by ComicBook.com sheds light on Star Wars: The Last Jedi's two primary antagonists: Kylo Ren and Snoke.

Between them, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) are undoubtedly the big bads of Lucasfilm’s current Star Wars trilogy – not unlike Darth Vader and the irredeemable Emperor Palpatine (AKA Darth Sidious) before them.

Following their back-to-back introduction in The Force Awakens, Lucasfilm and writer-director Rian Johnson are about to delve deeper into each respective antagonist with the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Granted, Johnson has been quick to stress that The Last Jedi will unveil most, but not all of Snoke’s mysterious background, while it’s been rumored that Kylo Ren will be busy licking his wounds – both physical and mental – aboard a Mega Star Destroyer close to the First Order’s new outpost. Starkiller Base is no more, and the fact that Finn (John Boyega) and Rose (Kelly Marie Tran) go undercover on behalf of the Resistance leads us to believe that those remaining Alliance forces will spend the opening segment of The Last Jedi working to pinpoint the exact location of Snoke and his “dangerous” minions.

All of this is yet to be confirmed, of course, and the Powers That Be will be working to keep story details under lock and key for the next few months – particularly with Force Friday right around the corner. In the meantime, though, ComicBook.com has compiled three pieces of stunning art for Episode VIII, which can be found in the gallery up above, along with that gorgeous fan poster from a few weeks back – in case you missed it.

Disney and Lucasfilm’s juggernaut continues this December with the release of The Last Jedi. Other Star Wars projects in the works include the so-far untitled Episode IX, and anthology movies for both Han Solo and the great Obi-Wan Kenobi. Word is that the Mouse House has also drawn up tentative ideas for Yoda and Boba Fett spinoffs, but much like Obi-Wan, they’re currently incubating in the early, early stages of development. More from the galaxy far, far away when we have it.
