Description: Having placed his own stylized stamp on Victorian London with aplomb for Sherlock Holmes, director Guy Ritchie has his crosshairs set on the Cold War for upcoming adaptation The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Based on the ‘60s spy series of the same name, the director’s latest will take place at the height of the war when governments turned to the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement to scupper a potential nuclear strike. Forming an unlikely alliance for the covert operation are Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer, though Ritchie’s will be a more light-heartened affair like the espionage genre films of old. Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris and Ex Machina starlet Alicia Vikander complete the cast.
