‘Weird’ guy arrested outside Nancy Guthrie’s home after driving by 50+ times with her picture on his phone

Entin shared the news in a TikTok post, noting the suspect drove by Nancy’s Tucson, Arizona, house in a blue vehicle “50 to 100 times” before deputies stopped him, questioned him for 20 minutes, and took him into custody on suspicion of DUI after the man reportedly failed a sobriety test, Entin alleged.

Entin also said he had a picture of Nancy on his phone and that he had repeatedly stopped at the memorial outside Nancy’s house. “It’s probably like nothing but, like, it is weird. There’s some just like some creepy people that come by,” Entin said on social media.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office has not commented on the arrest. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office has not named him as a suspect in Nancy’s disappearance. Officials have treated the arrest as a separate incident.

The man’s arrest came just days after Nancy’s daughter, NBC Today co-host Savannah Guthrie, announced on Instagram that the family was now offering a $1 million reward for her “miracle return.”

Nancy, 84, was reported missing on Feb. 1, 2026, and an intensive investigation involving several local and federal agencies has so far turned up nothing.

Savannah added,

We also know that she may be lost. She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in Heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy.”

“And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home,” Savannah said.

Meanwhile, Fox News Digital reports that a Ring camera belonging to Nancy’s neighbor captured 12 cars driving past their home on backroads less than three miles from Nancy’s house at around 2:30 a.m. the night she vanished, and about 8 minutes after Nancy’s pacemaker last synced to her iPhone.

What happened to Nancy Guthrie?

As of Feb. 27, 2026, the investigation remains active, with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office confirming that detectives are continuing to follow up on tips related to both the DUI arrest and the broader missing-person case.

Investigators are still reviewing surveillance footage, including the reported Ring camera video referenced by Fox News, and urge anyone with information to contact their tip line: 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department tip line at 520-351-4900. Officials say the $1 million reward remains in effect as search efforts and forensic analysis continue.

As the case nears the end of its fourth week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has begun shifting how it is deploying resources in the search for Nancy. Sources familiar with the investigation say the FBI is reducing its heavy on-the-ground presence in Tucson and relocating its main command post to Phoenix, where its largest Arizona office is based, with many agents returning there to coordinate the investigation long-term.
