Jumping to a much later point in the season, we find Daredevil and Elektra at odds when she sets her sights on Stick after he attempts to have his former pupil killed. However, just as The Man Without Fear is the process of talking her down, it’s revealed that she’s actually The Hand’s secret weapon, and Matt finds himself now having to do more than just convincing Elektra not to murder her one time mentor.

The fact that the bond these two share snaps her out of a turn to the dark side really emphasizes their closeness and feels like a moment which has been earned by this stage.
