An underrated duo singled out as the best platonic relationship the MCU has to offer

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was undoubtedly flawed, but it had some great moments and memorable characters that have instantly endeared themselves to fans. Fans named the platonic relationship between two of the show’s characters as the best in the MCU, and honestly I sort of agree.

Augustus Pugliese AKA Pug, (Josh Segarra) and Nikki Ramos (Ginger Gonzaga) have won fan affection for their wholesome relationship in the show. It’s clear that their both characters care for one another and it’s heart-warming to see. One user in the Marvel Studios subreddit shared a GIF of the pair from the show that perfectly demonstrates why we love them so.

And it turns out there’s plenty of love for these two in the fanbase as others agreed that Nikki and Pug’s friendship is one of the best in the entire MCU. Both actors were praised for the lightheartedness they were able to bring to their characters and the show as a whole.

That said, it’s quite a struggle to actually name that many platonic relationships in the MCU. Black Widow and Hawkeye come to mind, but aside from that there’s not too much competition. Fans did manage to name a few other pairings in the MCU that didn’t need romance to be a great relationship.

The question is, are they better relationships than this example from She-Hulk? Regardless, it’s great to see some attention given to Pug and Nikki’s friendship. It’s been massively overlooked by fans as a small part of a much bigger show. However, both actors did a great job of selling it and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
