Arrow: New Collision Course Images Reveal Why The Fractured Team Is Fighting

In recent memory, you may have noticed that The CW has been dropping images taken from episodes of their various series well before they actually air. To be honest, this practice is commonplace, but I can't help but think of how many times the more recent examples have fueled speculation or flat-out spoiled what's to come.

In recent memory, you may have noticed that The CW has been dropping images taken from episodes of their various series well before they actually air. To be honest, this practice is commonplace, but I can’t help but think of how many times the more recent examples have fueled speculation or flat-out spoiled what’s to come.

If you’ll recall, the first photos promoting “Collision Course” dropped about a week ago, right before its preceding episode, “The Devil’s Greatest Trick,” had even aired. In those, we saw the original Team Arrow seemingly hiding out in a cabin for some undefined reason, prompting me to think that a second batch of images would soon follow.

Well, it turns out that I was actually right, for the network has now declassified five additional pictures (seen below) revealing that Quentin Lance and the original Team Arrow are harboring Black Siren, thus explaining why they’re about to throw down with Team Arrow 2.0.

Before, we just thought this donnybrook seemed like a way for both sides to blow steam before all arrive on the same page, but now it all makes perfect sense. With Black Siren recently having killed Black Canary’s lover, Vigilante, her gang will have all the more reason to want to use excessive force on anyone who gets in their way.

For more, be sure to check out the official synopsis:

OTA VS. NTA — Oliver (Stephen Amell), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) disagree with Dinah (Juliana Harkavy), Curtis (Echo Kellum) and Rene (Rick Gonzalez) on how to handle Black Siren (Katie Cassidy). The two teams face off and a fight ensues. Ken Shane directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Rebecca Bellotto (#614).

Arrow returns with new episodes on Thursday, March 1st on The CW.
