Arrow’s David Ramsey Shares BTS Photo From His Directorial Debut

Sometimes, when actors enjoy extended stays on a given TV series, the Powers That Be allow them a shot at directing. And although not everyone may be interested in pulling double duty, some are thrilled to try their hand at something different.

Similar to how Tom Cavanagh got behind the camera while filming The Flash‘s 100th episode, Arrow‘s own David Ramsey has been confirmed to do likewise for his own show. And according to Green Arrow TV, we’ll all get to see him showcase his talent whenever episode 7×11, “Past Sins,” gets to air, which’ll be sometime in early 2019. Written by Onalee Hunter Hughes and Tonya Kong, one would imagine a January debut to be more than likely.

Luckily for us, Ramsey was generous enough to share a special behind-the-scenes image on his Instagram page, which can be seen below. Actually, it’s split in two, as someone else apparently took a picture of him taking a picture. I know, it’s kind of funny.

Furthermore, David had this to add, expressing how grateful he was for the experience:

“Thank you doesn’t seem adequate enough to express how grateful I am to all of my family, friends, fans, crew members, executives and cast members that inexplicably offered support in my journey to get here. I am fortunate to have you all at my back.”

But before then, expect for John Diggle and Curtis Holt to kick some butt in next week’s episode, “The Demon,” the synopsis for which we have right here:

FELICTY DISCOVERS A SECRET ABOUT OLIVER; CURTIS GOES UNDERCOVER — Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) learns something new about Oliver (Stephen Amell) that shocks her. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) asks Curtis (Echo Kellum) to go undercover for ARGUS. Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) works with an unlikely ally. Mark Bunting directed the episode written by Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes (#705). Original airdate 11/12/2018.

Arrow airs on Monday nights on The CW.
