Arrow’s Stephen Amell Unites The Queen Family In New Photo

Now that Arrow has (nearly) seven seasons under its belt, I think it's fair to say the character of Oliver Queen sure has gone through a lot of hell. But in the process, he's made great friends, found love, and has even begun building a family of his own. Perhaps it's these simple rewards that have prevented him from becoming the evil he fights.

Of course, one could say that the cast and crew are a family in their own right because everybody involved in the production becomes rather tightly knit after working closely together for so long. As such, they get opportunities to enjoy themselves when cameras aren’t rolling.

Serving up some evidence of this is unofficial Arrowverse ambassador Stephen Amell, this time taking to Facebook to share a picture of the Queen family. And by that, we don’t mean he’s unearthed an old photo with Moira, Thea or even Emiko. Instead, he’s actually gotten colleagues Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity), Katherine McNamara (Mia) and Ben Lewis (adult William) to pose together.

Now, while this may not seem all that noteworthy to some, it actually is because these characters haven’t occupied the screen all at once. As you may know, Mia and adult Ben feature in the flash forward segments and have had only limited interaction with Felicity’s much older self. Oliver, meanwhile, hasn’t shared scenes with his grownup children, which fuels speculation that he won’t make it out of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” alive.

For more on what’s to come, be sure to check out the official synopsis for the next new adventure to grace screens, that being “Lost Canary“:

BIRDS OF PREY; CAITY LOTZ GUEST STARS — After being accused of murder and having her criminal past exposed, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) goes full Black Siren and teams up with an old criminal acquaintance, Shadow Thief (guest star Carmel Amit), to go on a crime spree around Star City. While Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) aims to bring Laurel in, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to give up on her friend and tries everything to get through to her, even summoning Sara Lance (guest star Caity Lotz) for help. However, Laurel rebuffs all her efforts, forcing the former friends to face off against each other. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by Jill Blankenship & Elisa Delson (#718).

Arrow returns with new episodes on Monday, April 15th on The CW.
