Netflix just gave us the perfect treat for Pride Month by releasing the first five minutes of Heartstopper season two a month and a half early.
When the first batch of eight episodes of the coming-of-age comedy-drama premiered back in April 2022, Netflix viewers around the globe were wowed by Heartstopper‘s endless wholesomeness and charming central romance between Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). Luckily for audiences, and the streamer itself, there’s plenty more Heartstopper material to mine, thanks to the ongoing webcomic/graphic novel series from author Alice Osterman.
So rest assured, Heartstopper will remain on our screens for a while yet, with the show already renewed through season three. To kickstart the hype for its incoming second season, Netflix has now released the first scenes of the next season opener via this Saturday’s TUDUM event, which offers the briefest tease possible at the much-awaited reunion of our lovestruck teen heroes. I want to be mad at Netflix, but the sneak peek is dang good-natured and heart-warming. Catch the clip above.
In addition, the episode titles for season two have also been revealed, offering fans some teasing clues at what’s in store for Charlie, Nick, and the rest of the kids from Truham Grammar School and Higgs Girls School. The episode titles are “Out,” “Family,” “Promise,” “Challenge,” “Heat,” “Truth/Dare,” “Sorry,” and “Perfect.”
Now this sneak peek has whet our whistle, don’t miss all eight episodes of Heartstopper season two when they arrive on Netflix this Aug. 3.
