Beauty And The Beast Gives Fans Their First Look At Season 3

After a jaw dropping season two finale, The CW kept fans painfully waiting before revealing their plans to add Beauty and the Beast to their 2015 summer line-up. Although the show had been officially renewed for a third season well before its last episode aired last July, the network was tight lipped about just when that would happen. With the low ratings, loyal followers of the series were understandably starting to show signs of concern.

Fortunately, everything worked out, and not just for the fans. According to the first promo trailer for the season three premiere, which was released earlier today, Beauty and the Beast‘s star-crossed lovers are finally going to take their relationship to the next level.

The clip shows us that Vincent (Jay Ryan) is planning to propose to Cat (Kristin Kreuk) as they start a new chapter and move in together. One of the biggest problems they’ll have to work out though as they merge their lives will be Vincent’s natural urges of the beast variety. He may have this side of himself under control these days, but all the pressure is clearly giving him some innate anxiety to contend with.

BATB fans also have another big victory to celebrate today, as the network has already announced that in addition to the upcoming season, the  beloved drama will be returning for a fourth outing sometime late in the 2015-2016 broadcast calendar. With this news, all signs point to the long wait being completely worth it.

Beauty and the Beast returns to The CW on Thursday, May 21 for its highly anticipated third season with 13 new episodes.
