Caity Lotz Will Return To Arrow For Season 6 Finale

In the case of Legends of Tomorrow, the Waverider crew mostly consists of heroes who first appeared over on Arrow or The Flash before they made the leap to the time traveling ensemble show.

When it comes to Sara Lance (played by Caity Lotz), she first arrived on the scene near the start of Arrow‘s second season by making her mark as the first to go by the moniker of “Canary” in this continuity. Having later been murdered and then resurrected a year later, she’s since emigrated over to Legends of Tomorrow, rechristening herself as “White Canary” and assuming leadership of the Waverider.

Understandably, the character’s busy nature hasn’t afforded her many trips back to present day Star City, but that’ll soon change, for Collider has learned Sara will indeed be making her way to Arrow for the season 6 finale that’s set to air this May. And, in case you were wondering, Legends wraps its third season on April 9, so there’s really no concern for conflict.

Right now, the details surrounding her return are unclear, but it could have something to do with all the hoopla that’s been circling the Lance family of late, what with Quentin trying to redeem Earth-2 Laurel AKA Black Siren. When you think about it, Sara has really yet to intervene in this situation, and it should make for some great television.

Additionally, we have to consider that her comeback could tie into this mysterious Thanatos Guild that’s set to debut tonight. We’ve long suspected that they could be sticking around for a while and possibly spill over into season 7. Lest we forget, Sara herself is a League of Assassins alumnus – and those folks are exactly the ones making up the Thanatos Guild.

Arrow returns with new episodes tonight on The CW.
