Netflix’s upcoming series will bring us back to Camp Firewood for some more adventures, as all our favorite cast members return. And when you look at the cast list, it’s actually quite impressive. The likes of Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Amy Poehler, Michael Ian Black, and Elizabeth Banks are all back for some more fun in the sun. That’s all we really know about the series, but it’s probably enough to bring a few viewers into the fold.

The 2001 film told the story of the last day at Camp Firewood in the summer of 1981 as everyone prepares to return to the real world. Love stories begin and end, and talent shows are won and lost. The whole is an entertaining cult movie that impresses as much because of its cast as it does because of its very loose plot structure.

With this first teaser, Netflix lets us know that if we liked the original film, we will probably want to check out the series. It also reminds those of us who do not know or care for Wet Hot American Summer that some of our favorite actors are going to be around. We shall have to wait until this summer to see if Netflix’s latest gamble pays off, but I certainly hope it does. I just want to see all these people together again.

Wet Hot American Summer comes to Netflix in Summer 2015. You can check out the teaser, such as it is, and see what you think about the return to Camp Firewood.
