Following brief teasers for Foggy, Karen and the Man Without Fear himself, this latest promo for the upcoming second season of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil places the focus on the character that fans are arguably most exited to see make his debut on the show: Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher (Jon Bernthal).
Here, we see the remorseless vigilante step ominously from the shadows before staring down at the mask in his hand… a mask that just so happens to belong to Daredevil. There’s a chance that this is just symbolism of course, but if not, we can expect Castle to learn that the civilian alter-ego of his costumed opponent is actually Matt Murdock, which should be an interesting moment in the show.
Daredevil season 2 will return to Netflix on March 18th and will also star Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) and Scott Glenn (Stick); with newcomer Elodie Yung as the enigmatic and deadly face from Matt’s past, Elektra.
