The long-awaited TV adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s cult favourite fantasy/comedy novel, Good Omens, is finally on its way. With Gaiman on board as showrunner, the social media-happy writer is on hand to tease fans with snaps from filming on his Twitter account. Already, he’s given us a shot of stars David Tennant and Michael Sheen united for the first time at the read-through, and then a glimpse at them in full costume as demon Crowley and angel Aziraphale, respectively.

Now, Gaiman’s delivered yet another shot of Tennant, this time on location and dressed in Victorian finery. “Day two in St James’s Park. Feeding the Victorian ducks,” read the caption for the photo, which you can check it out in the gallery down below.

Judging by what we see here, it seems that the show will introduce us to the angelic/infernal odd couple via a series of flashbacks that check in on them throughout history, which is a neat way of showing their immortality.

In addition to that, Gaiman also gave us one more look at Tennant in character as Crowley. A shot from a monitor, it shows the actor with short spiked hair and shades in a Piccadilly restaurant. “A cocktail pianist is playing Bohemian Rhapsody,” Gaiman Tweeted along with the photo. “Crowley & Aziraphale are dining in Piccadilly. In the next scene they get bookshop drunk.”

For those unfamiliar, the six-part series sees the unlikely pair of friends decide to prevent the end of the world after they discover the Anti-Christ has been sent to Earth to bring about the apocalypse. The supporting cast includes Emerald City‘s Adria Arjona, Better Call Saul‘s Michael McKean and Harry Potter‘s Miranda Richardson. No release date has been set as of yet, but Good Omens is likely to arrive on Amazon Prime in 2018.
