DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Reveals Logo For Hawkgirl And Hawkman

As we approach its January premiere, The CW has released the official logo for both Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) that will feature in their Arrow/The Flash spin-off, DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. The avian-style symbol was posted on the network's official Instagram page, and will be used to represent the winged pair as they join their fellow heroes (and villains) to take on the might of the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The show definitely looks to have stepped things up from the CW’s previous superhero efforts in terms of both production values and overall ambition in regards to the time-hopping plot. In fact, rumor has it that the series has cost so much money to produce so far that there are plans to scrap its second season and move forward with something else entirely. Of course, that’s still completely unfounded for now – as is the rumor that a certain John Constantine will join the team at some point, but it’s intriguing nonetheless.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to air on Thursday, January 21 at 8/7c on The CW, and you can check out the logo and official synopsis below.

In DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, when heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only the planet is at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
