Descriptions For Upcoming Episodes Of Arrow And The Flash Revealed

Arrow Wedding

Arrow and The Flash don’t return to The CW until a little later this month, but the network has today released the official episode descriptions for both “Broken Hearts” and “Trajectory.”

The photo above has been causing quite a stir online, but we now know that the whole thing is just a sham to draw out former Suicide Squad member and Green Arrow obsessive, Cupid. That’s going to come as a relief to fans who aren’t too fond of “Olicity,” and the whole situation promises to be delightfully awkward.

A heartbroken Cupid (guest star Amy Gumenick) returns to Star City with one goal – to destroy anyone in love. The team learns she’s killing couples on their wedding day so Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decide to pose as bait. John Showalter directed the episode written by Rebecca Bellotto & Nolan Dunbar.

As for The Flash, there’s no mention of that massive Zoom reveal, but we do at least learn a little more about the new speedster in Central City.

Deciding to blow off some steam, Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team head out for a night on the town only to encounter an unexpected speedster who is up to no good. Iris (Candice Patton) is challenged by an assignment from her new boss (guest star Tone Bell), and is surprised when friction turns to flirtation. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Lauren Certo and Lilah Vandenburgh.

These are two very promising sounding instalments of Arrow and The Flash, and while neither mention their overarching narratives, they’re hopefully both more than just filler episodes.
