Diggle Takes Center Stage In Description For Episode 11 Of Arrow

David Ramsey's Diggle has always been one of the best parts of Arrow, and the character has really come into his own in recent years. Both a father and costumed hero (at last!), he has a lot to deal with working with the Green Arrow, but this year has seen the fan-favourite tough guy pushed to the brink after he learned that his brother was still alive and part of Damien Darhk's H.I.V.E. organisation.

David Ramsey’s Diggle has always been one of the best parts of Arrow, and the character has really come into his own in recent years. Both a father and costumed hero (at last!), he has a lot to deal with working with the Green Arrow, but this year has seen the fan-favourite tough guy pushed to the brink after he learned that his brother was still alive and part of Damien Darhk’s H.I.V.E. organization.

So far, Andy has seemingly remained loyal to his villainous boss, but it appears as if a major shake up is coming in the January 27th episode – titled “A.W.O.L.” – of the hit CW series:

DIGGLE VS. SHADOWSPIRE — Diggle (David Ramsey) must learn to trust his brother Andy (guest star Eugene Byrd) when an enemy of their wartime past, an agent of the criminal organization Shadowspire, pays a visit to Star City. However, Diggle learns more than he bargained for about their shared time at war. Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) has to learn a whole new way of life. Charlotte Brandstrom directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Emilio Ortega Aldrich.

In Arrow, Shadowspire is the organization run by Baron Reiter, so whatever happens in this episode is clearly going to tie into the events of Oliver’s flashbacks. Speaking of which, the mention of him having to “learn a whole new way of life” is very interesting, and could just have something to do with the shocking events of the midseason finale.

Whether or not that’s accurate remains to be seen, but we’ll find out when Arrow returns to The CW in a couple of weeks’ time.
